Next Event: Coconut Island

Atlanta – we’ve had enough with snow flurries. We’re thinking spring – imagining sandy beaches, sunshine, tangy fresh fruit. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

So while the details of our next event are still shaping up, East Atlanta Brewery is brewing a Coconut Porter, and we’re thinking about marinating a hangar steak in it. Possibly topped with jerk shrimp? Coconut and jerk marinated tofu kebabs? How about a warm weather backyard picnic? Maybe … April 28th?

Event Info

7:30-11pm, Monday, April 28, 2008
Suggested donation: $20 all-inclusive
Island attire is encouraged.
We’re considering a BYOChair for this event, in a sloping, grassy Inman Park backyard.
We email our registered attendees a few days before the event to confirm their reservation. You’ll next receive an email with what to expect, and a final email with the location, parking information and a map.
UPDATE, April 25, 2008: We’re OK with a spot to have the event. w00t.
